Privacy
How Atalaya Balear handles the data of visitors and of the professionals listed.
If you visit the site
The site does not need cookies to work. The server keeps technical logs (for example, the IP address) for security.
Cookies and analytics
If you accept, we use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are read, in which language and how people reach them, so that we can improve the site. The measurement is aggregated: we do not use it for advertising, and we do not enable Google Signals or ad personalisation.
_gaand_ga_T0EX9YXB2P: set by Google Analytics to tell visits apart anonymously; they last up to 2 years.atalaya-consent-v1: not a cookie but an entry in your browser’s local storage that records your choice. It lasts 12 months.
Until you accept, no Google tag is loaded and nothing is sent to Google. The banner makes accepting and rejecting equally easy. You can change your choice at any time via ‘Cookie settings’ at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, we delete the Google Analytics cookies.
Controller: Teix Web Studio, S.L. (hola@teixweb.com). Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 22(2) LSSI). Google LLC, based in the USA, processes the data as a processor and is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Google Analytics keeps analytics data for a maximum of 14 months. To object, access your data or have it erased, write to the same address.
If you claim your listing
We store your name, email address, phone number (if you give it) and your relationship with the business in order to manage your account, check that you are the owner and review the changes you suggest. Legal basis: providing the service you have requested (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If you also tick the box to receive ideas from Teix Web Studio, we will write to you from time to time for that purpose (your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); you can withdraw it at any time. To sign in we use a one-time link, and your session is stored in your browser for 30 days. To have your account deleted, write to hola@teixweb.com.
If you request a listing, a removal or a notification
We store only what you write in the form (the business, your name if you give it, your email address and the reason) in order to handle your request and reply to you. Legal basis: providing the service you have requested (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). For ‘Tell me when it opens’ we store your email address and the category so that we can write to you once, when there are listings (your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); you can withdraw it by writing to hola@teixweb.com.
If you take the extended listing
To charge for the plan, issue the invoice and manage renewal and cancellation, we process the owning business’s details: company name, tax ID, billing address, email address, plan, and the amounts and dates of each payment. Legal basis: performing the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our accounting and tax obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)).
Card payments are processed by Stripe on its secure page: we never see or store card details. Stripe processes payment data on our behalf and, to prevent fraud and meet its own legal obligations, as a controller; it may transfer data to Stripe, Inc. in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. We issue invoices with Holded, our invoicing software, which processes the data on our behalf. We only pass them to the Spanish tax agency when the law requires it.
If you ask for a service from My listing
If you press ‘Please contact me’ or ask for help with your website, we store the service you are interested in, the listing, your name, email address, phone number and any note you write, so that we can reply and prepare a proposal. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We only write to you about what you asked for.
Google Maps photos
On some listings, the photo is loaded from Google Maps when the page opens. To show it, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address and the technical details of the request. Google processes that data under its own privacy policy. We do not store those photos or any of your data to show them.
If you upload photos to your listing
With the extended listing you can upload photos from My listing. We resize them and strip all metadata (including GPS location) before storing them, we do not keep the original, and we review them before publishing. Legal basis: performing the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If people appear in a photo, you confirm that you have their consent to publish it; if someone asks us to remove it, we do.
How long we keep data
- Owner account: for as long as you keep it. If you ask us to delete it, we do so within a month, except what the law requires us to keep.
- Listing requests, removals, notifications and service requests: until they are handled and then for at most two years from the last contact.
- Extended listing data and invoices: for as long as the plan lasts and then six years (Art. 30 of the Spanish Commercial Code), plus whatever tax rules require.
- Photos and text from an extended listing that ends: 30 days, in case you come back; then we delete them. Photos we do not approve are deleted after 30 days.
Who else processes data for us
Besides Stripe and Holded, we use Google Analytics only if you accept it (see above). We never sell data or share it for marketing purposes. For any question or to exercise your rights (access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability), write to hola@teixweb.com.
If you appear in a listing
Controller: Teix Web Studio, S.L. (hola@teixweb.com).
We publish details of healthcare centres and professional firms: trade name, address, phone number, website and what the business itself publishes on its website (languages, opening hours, services). These details come from the Spanish Ministry of Health register of healthcare centres, the IBESTAT business directory and each professional’s website.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in offering a directory of professional services with checked details. We do not publish details of individuals who practise without a company until we have reviewed each one.
To exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure or objection, write to hola@teixweb.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, aepd.es).
