What an extended listing is

What an extended listing adds, what stays free, how it is labelled and why it changes neither the order nor the Seal.

An extended listing is an Atalaya Balear listing whose owner has taken a paid plan to show more information. Here is what changes and what does not.

What is added

  • The owner’s own photos, checked before publishing.
  • A highlighted booking or WhatsApp button.
  • Opening hours with exceptions and services with a short explanation.
  • On the complete plan, the description translated into German and English by a person.

What stays free

Claiming the listing, completing details, languages, services and opening hours, the check of the website and the chance to earn the Atalaya Seal. None of this becomes paid.

What never changes

  • The order of the lists follows the public rule. An extended listing does not move up.
  • The Atalaya Seal is awarded on the same criteria for everyone and cannot be bought.
  • There are no reviews or ratings, paid or free.

How it is labelled

Every extended listing carries the ‘Extended listing’ label next to its status and a notice under the extra content. Booking links carry the rel="sponsored" attribute. What comes from official registers and from the business’s own website is still shown with its source and date.

If you stop paying

The listing goes back to the free version at the next update of the site. We do not lose or delete your basic details. Photos and extra text are no longer shown.
