About us

Atalaya Balear is a project by Teix Web Studio, S.L., a web studio in Mallorca. We run it because finding a dentist or a lawyer on the islands, especially if you do not speak Spanish, is still harder than it should be: directories mix ads, out-of-date details and reviews nobody can check.

Here every detail comes with its source and date. We start from official registers, check each professional’s website and say what we do not know. The name comes from the watchtowers along the Balearic coast: look before you choose.

It is our own project. We do not sell positions or seals, and listing data is not passed on to anyone. Teix Web Studio also builds websites: if a listing owner asks us for help with theirs, we help them as we would any client, but the seal does not depend on it.

Claiming and completing a listing is free. Anyone who wants more can take an extended listing (photos, booking button, translation), which is labelled as paid content and changes neither the order nor the seal. Its terms are public.
