Who is behind Atalaya Balear, where the details come from, how they are checked and updated, and how a mistake gets corrected.

Who is behind Atalaya Balear?

Where do the details come from?
From three places, and every detail on a listing says which: the official register of healthcare centres (REGCESS, Spanish Ministry of Health), the IBESTAT Balearic business directory and each professional’s official website. What the owner corrects or adds from ‘My listing’ is published labelled ‘Stated by the owner’ with the date. We do not copy third-party directories, we do not use Google reviews and we do not publish the member lists of professional bodies.
How is a listing checked?
We find the professional’s website and check that it is the official one: the phone number, address or tax ID from the register must appear on it. Only then do we publish languages, opening hours and services, with a link to the page they come from. The full method is at How we check every listing. A verified listing confirms that the details are correct, not that the professional’s work is good.
Who writes the listing texts?
Nobody makes them up. Each listing’s summary is put together from fixed sentences and that listing’s own data, and what we do not know is left blank rather than filled in. If a website does not say which languages a professional serves, the listing says exactly that.
How often is it updated?
Every listing shows the date of its last check, and every page shows at the bottom the date the data was last updated. Changes approved by owners are published every day. If twelve months pass without checking a listing again, its Atalaya Seal is shown as expired until the next check.
Can you pay to rank first?
No. Listings are ordered by a public rule, and there are no ads, paid positions or reviews that push anyone up or down. Claiming and completing a listing is free.
Is there a conflict of interest?
Teix Web Studio also builds websites for professionals. If a listing owner asks us for help with their website, we help as with any client, but verification and the seal do not depend on it: the criteria are public, the same for everyone and checked automatically.
How is a mistake corrected?
Owners can claim their listing and correct it, or ask us to remove it. Anyone can tell us about a wrong detail from the listing itself or by writing to hola@teixweb.com. We review the report, fix whatever does not match the source and update the check date.
How do I cite Atalaya Balear?
If you use a detail from a listing, link to that listing and give the check date shown on it: details change and the date says when they were looked at. These pages are not a substitute for medical or legal advice.
What is an extended listing?
A paid plan the owner can take to add photos, a booking button and more detail. The order of the lists and the Seal still cannot be bought, and everything paid is labelled. What an extended listing is.
