How it works
Three steps, no password.
Find your listing
By the name of your business. Then you leave your name and email address.
We confirm you are the owner
We send you a sign-in link; no password needed. If your email address is on your website’s domain, you are verified straight away; otherwise we check it within 1 to 2 working days.
Review and complete your details
From “My listing” you suggest changes to the phone number, website, languages, opening hours, services and a short description. We review them and publish them labelled ‘Stated by the owner’, with the date.

Three levels, the same rules for everyone
The seal certifies details, not quality: it tells you that what you see has been checked, where it comes from and when we looked.
Official records
Only what appears in an official register (the Spanish Ministry of Health register of healthcare centres or the IBESTAT business directory), with the date we consulted it. No languages, opening hours or services until we have checked the website.
Verified listing
We have checked that the website is the official one. Languages, opening hours and services come from that website, and the listing comes before those with official records only.
Atalaya Seal
For a verified listing that its owner has claimed and whose website meets these criteria, which we check automatically:
- A secure website with HTTPS.
- A mobile PageSpeed score of 50 or more.
- The phone number on the listing appears on the website.
- A legal notice and a privacy policy.
- No injected content or signs of hacking.
- Opening hours, languages and services published.
It shows the year it was awarded and expires after twelve months unless the criteria are met again. In “My listing” you see what your website meets and what is missing; only you see these details.
Nobody pays for the seal or for their position. This is a fixed rule. The order of the lists follows a public rule. The only exception, in plain sight, is the listing of Teix Web Studio, the company that publishes Atalaya Balear: it comes first in its category and is labelled ‘Publisher of Atalaya Balear’.

How much does it cost?
Nothing. Claiming, correcting and completing your listing and qualifying for the seal are free, and will stay free.
Where do the details on my listing come from?
From the official register of healthcare centres (REGCESS, Spanish Ministry of Health), the IBESTAT directory of Balearic businesses and your official website. We do not copy other directories, use Google reviews or publish the member lists of professional bodies.
What does ‘Stated by the owner’ mean?
That the business itself has corrected or added that detail from “My listing”. We review it before publishing it and show it with that label and the date.
Can I pay to appear higher?
No. Listings with the seal come first, then verified ones, then the most complete and most recently checked. Nobody can buy a place. The only exception, in plain sight, is the publisher’s listing: how we sort.
How long does it take?
If your email address is on your website’s domain, you are in straight away. Otherwise we check that you are the owner within 1 to 2 working days. We review the changes you suggest before publishing them.
What if my business is not listed?
Search for it anyway: if it does not appear, you can request a listing from the same search. We review it and write back.
Can I ask you to remove my listing?
Yes. Tell us on “Remove my listing”: we check that the request comes from you and reply by email.
Do you rate the quality of my work?
No. Verification confirms details, not the quality of professional work. We do not publish reviews, ratings or scores.
