Data coverage: how it is calculated
What the data coverage of each Atalaya Balear listing measures, its eight criteria and their weight, and why it does not depend on paying or change the order.
Every Atalaya Balear listing shows its data coverage: a percentage from 0 to 100 and an eight-point rose showing how many of the details we measure the listing has, and whether they are checked. Below it, one sentence sums up what it has and what is missing.
It is not a rating of the professional. It measures the listing, not the quality of the work, the service or the price. A listing with low coverage may belong to an excellent professional who has not completed their details yet.
The eight criteria

| Languages | 10 | It states which languages it works in (even if only one). |

| Owner | 15 | The owner has claimed the listing, we have confirmed who they are, and they manage it. |
| Introduction | 10 | There is a text by the owner introducing the business. |
They add up to 100. The calculation is the same for every listing and runs automatically on the details published in each listing every time the directory is updated.
100% without paying
Everything that counts is free. The owner can claim the listing and, from My listing, add phone, email, WhatsApp, languages, opening hours, services and an introduction. Photos, video and translation in the extended listing count for nothing.
The only part that does not depend on the owner is the official register: a business that is not in any register does not get those 10 points. That is the case of the listing of Teix Web Studio, the publisher of the directory, which is not in the 2024 IBESTAT business directory.
No effect on order or Seal
Coverage is shown but not used for sorting. Lists follow their public rule, and the Atalaya Seal has its own criteria. Nobody can pay for higher coverage, a better position or the seal.
